The garden celebration of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s 92nd birthday in 2018 was held in the spirit of the royal wedding of Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle. As guests arrived along the “white carpet,” they were welcomed by beautiful hostesses in themed costumes to the music of a violin-and-harp duo. Guests were officially welcomed by the new British Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Nick Archer MVO, who—after his opening remarks—together with war veteran Maj. Gen. Emil Boček cut a cake baked to the recipe of Harry and Meghan’s wedding cake. The celebration also featured classic British Fish & Chips, an interactive photo booth, and a Royal Wedding Bar.
